Golf Classic Reaches Goal of $84,000
It was a beautiful, sunny, warm day when nearly 120 golfers, each of them a champion for children, joined us at The 84 Lumber Villages Golf Classic Presented by ESCO Communications on September 18, 2008 at Broadmoor Country Club. This year’s event raised more than $84,000 for program funding and youth scholarships, and will help The Villages’ staff recruit, train and support the growing need for foster and adoptive families to care for the very fragile children we serve each day!
The support of our sponsors has been invaluable to The Villages' special children, and each of these generous businesses, organizations, and individuals assured that the Golf Classic was a huge success!

The Faces... The Voices... The Villages.
IN MEMORIAM: The Villages' Video, "The Faces... The Voices... The Villages" is dedicated to the memory of eight-year-old Amber Marie Puttock, who passed away suddenly on December 26th, 2007. Amber was a precious angel, able to light up any room she entered, with her love of life, her inquisitive nature and her heart filled with joy. In honor of Amber's loving adoptive parents Manda and Justin Puttock, her beloved little brother Ryan, and the memory of angelic Amber, we share these stories of The Villages' special children, youth and families.
